From 40 Countries to One Local Soul

I’m David, a local Korean who has spent the last 15 years traveling to over 40 countries across the globe. After a round-the-world trip and a decade of navigating international borders, I realized something: my own home, Korea, is one of the most exciting—yet most confusing—places for a traveler to navigate.

Why "Unfiltered"?

I created this blog to bridge the gap between the "perfect" tourism brochures and the "unfiltered" reality of traveling in Korea. Whether you're struggling with local apps, hunting for solo-friendly BBQ spots, or trying to spot a cult scam in Hongdae, I’m here to provide the local data and traveler’s perspective you won't find anywhere else.

My Promise: Practical advice, local secrets, and a "kind buddy" approach to help you experience the real Korea without the frustration.
